“So, I went to Freeman Elementary and Middle School from preschool through eighth grade, and I had formed some really good and strong relationships with the people there. And it’s a really small school so you kind of know everyone, and everyone knows you. I was going through middle school and my sister Elsa decided to transfer to Ferris, and she really enjoyed it. She was in the music program, and she did cross country, and she just loved everything about it. So, when I was coming to high school, I was kind of considering coming to Ferris, and it was a really really hard decision for me though, because I had such good relationships at Freeman. I spent a lot of time deliberating about it, and I finally decided to go to Ferris because there were more opportunities presented there. There was a really strong music program which I was interested in, and then I would be able to go to school with my sister for her senior year and my freshman year. I’ve just learned that I’m really glad I did come to Ferris, and I’ve kind of thrived here, I feel. And I just kind of learned that if it’s a really hard decision, then there’s probably not a right or wrong choice. Whichever one you pick is probably going to be good if it’s that hard to decide.”
